Active Suspension Control (ABC) is an advanced high-pressure hydraulic suspension system designed specifically for some high-end models of Mercedes Benz to achieve real-time active control of suspension posture.

Core technology and working principle:

System type: Hydraulic shock absorber system. Unlike traditional air springs, ABC uses hydraulic oil as the working medium instead of gas.

High pressure circuit: The hydraulic oil inside the system is maintained at extremely high pressure. This high-pressure environment ensures the ultra fast response time of the actuator.

Upper compensation: The system can calculate and execute the motion compensation of the lower compensation on the road surface in real time, including:

Pitch control: suppresses the lifting or sinking of the front of the car during acceleration and braking.

Roll control: hip roll during turning.

Height control: Maintain a constant ground clearance and adjust the elevator as needed.

Function implementation: By controlling the flow of high-pressure oil to the hydraulic cylinder integrated inside each shock absorber, actively applying support or releasing pressure, the weight and height of the suspension can be changed in a very short time.
